The below Descriptions is a brief about the Nine Personality Types in Enneagram. The traits and behavior described below can be found in all the types of personality. However, when a particular trait forms the basis and is dominant or when you find that this trait is indispensible in your behavior then it is a clear indication that you belong to that particular Type. Type 4
They are called INDIVIDUALIST or ROMANTIC. This type of people consider themselves very unique and different from others in the group. They are artistic and enjoy melancholy. They love solitude and dwell in deepest of nostalgic emotions. They try to pose themselves as different from the group.
Type 5
They are called INVESTIGATOR or OBSERVER. This type of people consider themselves as learned and knowledgeable than others. They are people who collect information, facts and data wherever they go and update their knowledge. They generally do not share their knowledge with others and use it only when it is required. They are people who enjoy being isolated from others and living in their own world.
Type 6
They are called LOYALIST. This type of people are very good at analysing data, information and process. They have the innate ability to understand and speak about the various dimensions of a problem. They are very loyal and committed to their work most of the time. They have multiple options in solving a problem and hence might find it hard to pick up one option while making a decision.
Type 7
They are called ENTHUSIAST. This type of people are party lovers. They like being in a group and keeps the team in spirits. They are highly capable of doing multi tasking. They like to learn and do different jobs just for the sake of experiencing a variety in life. They dislike detailed work and monotonous jobs.
Type 8
They are called CHALLENGER or LEADERS. This type of people have the innate ability to lead a team. They protect people under their care. They fight for others. They are direct and straight forward. They express anger readily and directly.
Type 9
They are called PEACE MAKER’s. This type of people make good arbitrators and mediators. They have the ability to look at multiple points of view in a problem. They are good at resolving issues and maintaining peace. They dislike conflicts and loves harmony.
